The Opportunity

As a Graduate BIM Infrastructure Technician, you will play a key role in creating and managing digital models that help transform how infrastructure is designed, coordinated and delivered.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically minded graduate with a passion for digital engineering, problem solving and collaborative working.

As a Graduate BIM Infrastructure Technician, you will, but not limited to:

  • Create and coordinate 2D and 3D models for civil and infrastructure projects.
  • Support BIM coordination activities, model reviews and clash detection across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Assist with BIM standards, information management and digital delivery processes.
  • Support the management and quality assurance of project information within Common Data Environments (CDEs).
  • Contribute to innovative infrastructure projects through digital engineering solutions.
  • Produce road and corridor designs, 3D alignments and profiles, and terrain and surface models.
  • Work closely with engineers, architects and project teams to deliver high-quality digital outputs.

 Is this role right for you?  

 For this opportunity, we are seeking the following qualifications, skills and attributes:    

An undergraduate or bachelor's degree (Level 8 or equivalent) in the following disciplines:

  • Civil Engineering
  • Architecture
  • Architectural Engineering
  • Landscape Architecture

We're looking for graduates who demonstrate:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • A commitment to technical excellence and continuous learning
  • Experience or exposure to 3D modelling and civil infrastructure design
  • Understanding of information management and digital construction principles
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within multidisciplinary teams

Experience or academic exposure to any of the following would be advantageous:

  • Civil 3D
  • OpenRoads
  • MicroStation
  • AutoCAD
  • BIM Coordination Tools
  • Common Data Environments (CDEs)
  • Road and corridor design
  • 3D alignments and profiles
  • Terrain and surface modelling
  • Civil structures geometry design

 To be considered for a graduate opportunity, your application must include a copy of your academic transcript and meet the following criteria:  

  • No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role  
  • Recently graduated, or on track to graduate, from your most recent degree, related to your role of choice, before employment starts.

We're able to consider candidates who require an employment permit to work in Ireland, where the role and offered salary meet the Irish Government's eligibility criteria (for example, under the Critical Skills or General Employment Permit schemes).
