Structural Engineer
Structural Design/Engineering: as a member of the Building Engineering Team, you will be responsible for the structural design/engineering practice of (a) project(s). You will meet with a variety of clients and lead the structural design/engineering of (a) project(s). You will also work in close cooperation with other Teams/Disciplines such as MEP and façade engineering teams.

Number of team members: around 25
Collaboration with other teams: Tokyo Office is a multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm that provides design and advisory services for offshore wind farms as well as the following main services. We work together on each project and develop our services in a holistic approach, one of our founder’s philosophies.

‒ Lighting design
‒ Project & Programme management
‒ Rail engineering
‒ Offshore wind foundation structural design
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following
‒ At least 3 years’ first-hand experience in structural design & engineering in Japan
‒ Programming and first-hand experience in digital tools such as Grasshopper
‒ Native or equivalent in Japanese
Others
‒ You should have a broad interest in management, development and the environment and be willing to take on new challenges.
‒ Team worker; Ability to work proactively with our overseas offices
‒ Be willing to communicate in English
Education & Qualification
‒ Bachelor's degree or higher
‒ First class architect, or planning to become one

Salary & Benefits
Salary: will be offered based on your ability and experience

Working Place: Iidabashi Grand Bloom 8F, 2-10-2, Fujimi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan
Job Relocation: not planned
Working Hours: 8 hours per day between 5:00 to 22:00 (Break time is 60 minutes)
Probationary period: 6 months
Holidays: Saturdays and Sundays, national holidays prescribed by Japanese law, year-end and new year holidays, annual paid leave, sick leave, special leave, Citizen-judge leave system, childcare leave system, nursing care leave system
