The Opportunity

Our Advisory Services business is growing in the North West and Yorkshire region; owing to a strong increase in the demand for our expertise. As a result, we have a new opportunity for an open-minded procurement professional to join our ambitious team in our brand-new Leeds office with occasional travel required.

In your role, you will work alongside other specialists in the Procurement Advisory team, and colleagues across Arup, to deliver a wide variety of procurement activities at every stage of projects and the procurement lifecycle. This will include providing expert procurement advice and delivery capabilities to clients commissioning capital programmes and projects.

You will deliver best practice procurement strategy, tender management, and tender evaluation services across the public and private sectors to deliver tangible value and sustainable outcomes.

You will also provide input into project business cases, strategies, and delivery models to embed robust and pragmatic commercial and procurement practices.

You will provide commercial advice to clients to define, negotiate and award a range of standard and bespoke contracts.

You will also help Arup colleagues with business development activities to continue to grow our Procurement Advisory capabilities within Arup and across our client base.

Every day you will be encouraged to demonstrate and develop your procurement and consultancy expertise in various contexts, showcasing your skills on complex and diverse projects for our clients in identifying and implementing innovative procurement solutions to drive value through their projects.

At Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective – in which we encourage individuality to thrive. Our strength comes from how we respect, share and connect our diverse experiences, perspectives and ideas.

You will have the opportunity do socially useful work that has meaning – to Arup, to your career, to our members and to the clients and communities we serve.

Is the role right for you?
