The Opportunity
As a member of the UKIMEA Marketing, Communications and Business Development (MCBD) Operations team, this role is responsible for delivering the marketing activities defined by the UKIMEA MCBD Director and the Business Partners.
This role reports to the Head of Marketing who acts as the subject matter expert within the UKIMEA MCBD Operations team which includes the disciplines of marketing, internal and external communications, public affairs and visual communications.
Members of the Operations team are aligned (but not dedicated) to defined Portfolios and Geographies and will work regularly with the same Portfolio and Geography. Where resourcing demands it, you will work with other Portfolios/Geographies and support region-wide projects and activities.
You will work in a matrix structure whereby the Head of Marketing is accountable for the line management of the discipline, with the resourcing, training, development and professional standards of the team.
The Business Partners define the annual plan of activity and are accountable for the successful delivery of the plan, with ad hoc activities. Therefore, on a day-to-day basis, you will work collaboratively with the Business Partners alongside other members of the Operations team to deliver activities defined by them.
This role will be aligned to Advisory Services, with the role holder working closely with the Digital and Technical Specialist Services’ Marketers.
The purpose of the Marketing Co-ordinator role is to support the design of marketing strategies and campaigns plans, as well as deliver and evaluate their success.
The role will have day-to-day remit for the smart execution of tactical activity aligned to the strategic marketing plans that maximises return on investment.
The successful candidate will also work closely with the wider marketing team to ensure activity is well planned and comprehended and aligns to the broader region’s strategic priorities. The role will ensure brand coherence across all activity.
The post holder will be developed professionally through the UKIMEA MCBD network.
