Join our globally integrated Talent, Leadership & Learning team as a Learning Consultant, reporting to the Senior Learning Partner. In this impactful role, you will apply globally prioritized leadership learning locally, ensuring timely interventions that enhance leadership capability across Arup. You will work closely with key stakeholders, build learning communities, and experiment with innovative methodologies to support leadership development. By embedding great learning experiences, you will drive meaningful change in individuals, teams, and the business.
The Opportunity
- Enable Leadership Learning Application – Deliver targeted, locally relevant leadership learning interventions aligned with global priorities, ensuring impact at an individual and team level.
- Build Learning Communities – Facilitate peer learning networks that sustain leadership conversations, enhance engagement, and anticipate future learning needs.
- Consult with Stakeholders – Diagnose leadership learning needs within the business, collaborating with People Partners and senior leaders to create meaningful development opportunities.
- Drive Engagement & Influence Change – Identify leadership development hotspots and work directly with leaders to foster environments that encourage continuous learning and capability building.
- Innovate Learning Methodologies – Experiment with new learning theories and practices, pioneering innovative approaches to leadership development.
- Contribute to Global Learning Initiatives – Engage in cross-regional projects within the Talent, Leadership & Learning CoE, sharing insights and best practices to elevate leadership learning across the firm.
- Leverage Data & Insights – Use learning engagement intelligence to inform decision-making and measure the impact of leadership development initiatives.
- Champion Continuous Development – Role model a growth mindset, investing in your own learning and supporting the ongoing development of fellow learning professionals.
Is this role right for you?
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Psychology, Learning & Development, or a related field; HR or Learning professional qualification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 6+ years in learning & development, organizational development, HR, or a related field. Leadership Learning Expertise: Strong experience in delivering high-impact leadership development programs, with a focus on closing the knowing-doing gap.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage, consult, and influence key stakeholders while balancing multiple priorities.
- Consultative & Relational Approach: A natural curiosity about the organization, combined with the ability to sense, interpret, and act on learning needs.
- Innovation & Adaptability: Passion for experimenting with cutting-edge learning methodologies, using data and insights to drive decision-making.
- Growth Mindset & Integrity: Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous improvement, collaboration, and alignment with Arup’s values.
