Intelligent Transportation Systems Engineer (New York, NY)
Plan, design, develop, integrate, and deliver Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) within transportation operational environments.
Support ITS technical input into transportation planning and delivery projects.
Condition assessments of existing ITS infrastructure and assets.
Pilot projects of emerging ITS technology.
Perform technology lifecycle planning, develop Concept of Operations documents, and develop ITS system requirements and design documentation including specifications, design drawings, and estimates.
Present designs for review by technical and non-technical audiences.
Review technical documentation and ITS technology specifications and cut sheets.
Support ITS system testing and verification and user validation activities.
Provide ITS technical expertise input into transportation master planning.
Write reports for internal and external purposes.
Support business development activities including research and proposal development.
Perform ITS research activities, draft papers, and representing Arup at industry conferences.
Use industry specific modeling software to evaluate ITS deployments and related benefits.
Requires Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of experience.
- Salary Range: $121,430-$121,430/year.
