The Opportunity
On this 10–12-month Internship you'll work alongside skilled professionals and from day one you will be working on real life meaningful projects - adding value to clients, while exploring challenges with curiosity and creativity. You'll learn from others and begin creating your professional network ready for when you graduate. There will be regular learning sessions with our leadership team, opportunities for site visits to local projects and all kinds of social events that will support your learning and development.
Our Management Consulting team helps organisations navigate change, improve performance and plan for the future. Working across People & Organisation and Strategy & Insight, we support clients with business strategy, organisational design, change management, workforce capability, research, data analysis and transformation programmes. As part of Arup's multidisciplinary consultancy, we combine strategic thinking with technical expertise to help clients deliver practical solutions to complex challenges across infrastructure, cities, property, energy and industry.
You’ll work alongside skilled professionals and, from day one, you will be working on real life meaningful projects:
- Conduct research, data analysis and insight generation to inform client recommendations and decision-making.
- Participate in client meetings and workshops, helping to gather information, facilitate discussions and present findings.
- Prepare high-quality reports, presentations and other client deliverables.
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams alongside consultants, engineers, planners and technical specialists.
- Support business development activities, including market research, proposals and client engagement activities.

Is this role right for you?
For this opportunity, we are seeking the following qualifications, skills and attributes:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant academic discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Psychology (including Organisational Psychology) Business and Commerce or similar
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to undertake research and interpret qualitative and quantitative data
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to synthesise complex information into clear insights and recommendations
- Intellectual curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn
- Interest in strategy development, organisational design and operating models, and change and transformation
- Experience with Excel, Power BI, data visualisation, or other analytical tools would be advantageous
