Graduate - Asset Management (Infrastructure)

The Opportunity

The Asset Management (Infrastructure) team is part of Management Consulting and helps to deliver and sustain organizational and operational outcomes by supporting clients’ use of technology, primarily in transportation, to achieve their objectives. The team also supports the development of strategies, implementation plans, technology deployments, and performance management. The team supports clients in the management of operations and maintenance contracts relating to transport technology.  

As part of the Asset Management Team, you will:

  • Support turning technical recommendations into solutions and project deliverables
  • Support clients in utilising technology to solve problems and to support transport operations
  • Undertake analytical research to develop, document and present concepts and design ideas
  • Review project documentation, applicable codes and standards to assist with preparation of reports, presentations, drawings and/or sketches
  • Become familiar with technological advances that could provide solutions to client issues

For this opportunity, we are seeking the following qualifications, skills and attributes:    

An undergraduate or bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in one of the following disciplines:

  • Civil Engineering
  • Telecommunications Engineering
  • Business & Commerce
  • Project & Programme Management
  • Transport
  • Infrastructure
  • Asset Management
  • Project Management

We're looking for candidates who can demonstrate some of the following:

  • An interest in infrastructure asset management and the challenges facing transport and infrastructure owners.
  • Knowledge of, or enthusiasm for learning about, transport technologies such as:  
  • Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), Road User Charging; Traffic Signal Design;  
  • Experience producing technical reports, presentations and other project documentation.
  • An ability to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders and project partners to understand and develop project requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret information and develop practical solutions.

We are interested in graduates who can demonstrate:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to understand context and consider the broader impact of decisions.
  • A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work, manage competing deadlines and deliver high-quality outputs.
  • Curiosity, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and develop professionally.

To be considered for a graduate opportunity, your application must include a copy of your academic transcript and meet the following criteria:  

  • Full working rights in the country of application  
  • No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role  
  • Recently graduated, or on track to graduate, from your most recent degree, related to your role of choice, before employment starts.
