About this career opportunity
We have an opportunity for an Environmental Consultant to join our successful, growing environmental team in the West. Based in any of Arup's West Offices: Bristol, Winchester or Cardiff, with an expectation of a high level of mobility across the West region (Cardiff and Winchester) and throughout the UK as projects require, working alongside the environmental teams in these locations. Work across a variety of projects including major infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on the water, energy and transport sectors. Be part of a wider team, working in a truly integrated and multi-disciplinary way across West of England, Wales and the South collaborating with our colleagues across the UK and internationally. Providing innovative solutions to complex major project delivery. Understanding of UK planning process, knowledge of project consents secured under the Planning Act 2008 advantageous.

Is this role right for you?
We are looking for people with:
- Degree and/or master’s in environmental related topic.
- Demonstrable progress towards professional membership of Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (or equivalent) and Demonstrable progress towards becoming Chartered Environmentalist or equivalent.
- CEEQUAL/BREEAM assessor.
