BIM Coordinator

The Opportunity 

We are looking for a BIM Coordinator, passionate and technically proficient engineers or architects for our Istanbul office BIM team. The role includes contributing BIM strategy and protocols, management of coordination and review processes for a wide range of high-profile projects. You will also play a key role in developing BIM workflows and procedures and provide support to teams in the effective utilization of BIM tools within our office.

As a BIM Coordinator at Arup, you will:

• Assist/manage in the implementation of BIM processes according to the needs of the project,

• Contribute/author developing BIM documents according to project's BIM scope such as BIM Execution Plans (BEP),

• Set up and manage CDE for projects,

• Support designers and BIM professionals in developing and coordinating BIM models,

• Review and report on model performance and quality using Quality Assurance software solution,

• Set up and manage project-wide, federation models,

• Oversee coordination and review processes,

• Manage Virtual Design Review (VDR) meetings,

• Manage coordination and clash review processes.

  
  
  Your Role in office BIM Processes;

   

• Contribute developing our BIM strategies, protocols and information workflows,

• Contribute guiding senior staff on BIM processes and standards,

• Ensure compliance with modeling conventions and company best practices,

• Promoting Revit and the Global Revit standard usage.
   

Does this role inspire you?
We're looking for someone who is passionate and technically proficient engineers or architects for our Istanbul office BIM team. We also value:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or architecture,
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in projects managed with BIM processes,
• BIM Coordinator/Manager experience in at least 1 project,
• Experience in managing Revit modeling in projects,
• Experience in managing at least one Common Data Environment (CDE) platform in projects, such as ACC/BIM360,
• Experience in multidisciplinary coordination using coordination software,
• Strong teamwork, communication, reporting and presentation skills,
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal,

• For male candidates' military service must be completed.

  
  
  The following qualifications are advantage:

   

• Knowledge and experience in ISO19659 and related standards,
• Knowledge of various coordination software,
• Knowledge of interoperability between different software,
• Experience with 4D/5D BIM processes and tools,
• Experience in modeling and family creation in Revit,
• Knowledge of Dynamo and parametric design.
