We are looking for a Major Project Leader to join our Auckland-based team within the Roads & Streets Business. This role will focus on winning work, driving project delivery, maintaining key client relationships, and shaping the future of major infrastructure projects in New Zealand.
The Opportunity
• Lead and manage strategic pursuits and bids for key infrastructure opportunities across New Zealand.
• Act as the Project Manager and leader for selected infrastructure projects and teams.
• Provide governance and oversight as Project Director for high-profile projects.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with key stakeholders in the Highways/Roads & Streets sector.
• Identify and secure secondment opportunities for our staff, supporting their growth and development.

Is this role right for you?
• Over 15 years of experience in major infrastructure projects, ideally within a consulting environment.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven ability to lead and deliver large, complex projects on time and within budget.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant industry legislation, regulations, and guidelines.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels and foster teamwork under pressure.
