The workplace team is responsible for all endpoint clients within the estate.  Focusing on client management, software delivery and usability of all endpoint technologies.

The role 

We have an exciting opportunity for a workplace services analyst to join our team. In this role you will be exposed to a wide range of activities and technologies in a thriving and highly technical environment.  There will be opportunities to demonstrate technical leadership on projects and development initiatives.

This role requires an extensive knowledge SCCM/Intune (MEM), as well as an understanding of deployment methods for application and patch delivery.

You’ll join a growing and collaborative development team with a range of skills and experiences, and report into the unified endpoint manager who is based in the UK.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Maintaining our UEM systems: System Center Configuration Manager, MDT, Intune, Group Policy management and other endpoint automated configuration and management related technology infrastructure
  • Windows and Mac Desktop estate including image creation, deployment, patching and configuration
  • Solutions to improve user experiences, security and management of desktops, laptops, mobile, print and other workplace compute devices
  • Strategy and management of device standards streamlining endpoint hardware and services offered to customers
  • Release management for software and hardware deployments and updates, including the management and co-ordination of business champions
  • Authors official documents e.g. reports (for internal or external use)
  • Manages small projects, work area or technical skill set
  • Responsible for predicting and planning future resources, which may include setting up new projects and project plans
  • Responsible for the design/ delivery of events, activities, processes, and /or projects which have a major impact on the management of the business: allocates tasks and coordinates activities

Requirements and skills

Essential skills and knowledge:

  • Extensive knowledge of SCCM and Intune in a hybrid co-managed configuration
  • Detailed PC, print and mobile management experience
  • Group Policy configuration and Advanced Group Policy Management (AGPM)
  • Experience in software and patch deployment processes, as well as exposure to autopilot deployment
  • Print management technologies, e.g. Equitrac / Papercut
  • Vendor management with experience in RFPs and tenders
  • Ability to identify areas of improvement to continually improve service quality and reduce costs


  • Previous Autopilot implementation
  • JAMF Pro exposure
  • Working knowledge of ITIL Service Management processes and practices.
  • Working knowledge of Wandera
