The Opportunity

•    Work on hydrology and flood risk projects across a range of sectors including highways, rail, energy, and environmental development
•    Support the development of technical models, impact assessments, and infrastructure designs using tools such as ARR2019 and GIS
•    Collaborate closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions
•    Contribute to internal team culture and actively support knowledge sharing, communication, and team-wide collaboration
•    Represent Arup in internal and external settings, helping coordinate project efforts and ensuring timely delivery

Is this role right for you?

•    Tertiary qualifications in civil, environmental engineering, or a related field, and consulting experience in infrastructure or water sectors
•    Experience applying Australian Rainfall & Runoff 2019 and Austroads drainage design guidance
•    Strong analytical and modelling skills in hydrology and hydraulics, and familiarity with digital and GIS tools
•    Membership or eligibility for membership with a relevant professional institution
•    A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a diverse, solutions-focused environment
