We are looking for an experienced Water Engineer to join our growing West geography’s Civil/Water team, and to join our community of over 2,000 engineers, consultants, and experts across the region. This role can be based in San Francisco and/or Oakland. The ideal candidate possesses a broad range of technical skills in water resources, hydrology/hydraulics, modeling, and/or process engineering, and has a proven track record as a self-guided engineer who has contributed to a variety of complex multidisciplinary projects. Our team works on a wide range of projects, including master plans, risk and resilience studies, and all aspects of engineering and design for a variety of water, stormwater, wastewater and recycled water facilities.

Responsibilities of this role include:
•    Hydraulic modeling of water and wastewater networks with InfoWorks ICM, InfoWater (Pro), PCSWMM, SewerGEMS, and/or Water Gems
•    Deliver flood assessments and flood risk mitigation strategies
•    Conduct analytics, assessing and monitoring an array of hydrology and hydraulics data
•    Work in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary environment and produce high-quality work while maintaining quality relationships 
•    Work with project teams to develop design objectives and deliver quality outcomes to support project delivery 
•    Presentation and documentation of solutions to technical and non-technical audiences

Experience/Qualifications:
•    Bachelors Degree in Civil, Water, Environmental or related engineering field, advanced Degree is preferred
•    Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience
•    Professional Engineering License in the State of California preferred
•    Experience with ArcGIS/ArcGIS Pro, HEC-RAS (1D and 2D), and/or HEC-HMS preferred
•    Strong fundamental understanding of hydrology and hydraulics, water/wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure, and/or process design
•    Understanding of local and regional water regulations, policies, and guidelines

Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in San Francisco is $96,000 to $103,700 per year. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of the San Francisco Bay Area will differ.
