The Opportunity

We are looking for Urban Designers to join our growing London and India team. Successful candidates will contribute to a diverse portfolio of international projects, working alongside our passionate and highly skilled team, as well as the broader expertise of Arup and our partners. Our current work spans a range of scales and sectors, including strategic growth plans, masterplanning around infrastructure investment, and the regeneration of complex urban sites. 

Is this role right for you?

We are looking for individuals who:

• Degree in Architecture with RIBA Part 2 or equivalent; Master’s in Urban Design preferred with 3-5 yrs of experience
• Strong storyboarding, drawing, graphics, analytical and presentation skills
• Ability to develop and refine design concepts with innovative thinking
• Capable of working both collaboratively and independently
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Well-versed in MS Office and 3D modelling with strong visual communication skills
• Experience in GIS mapping and analytical tools
• Excellent graphic communication, visualisation, and English (written & spoken)
• Knowledge of Rhino, Grasshopper, Lumion, Enscape desirable; certifications/workshops an advantage
