Transportation Engineer Modeler (New York, NY)
Perform analyses and other technical guidance into a variety of plans and studies, such as corridor studies, site master plans, multimodal planning studies, station area and airport landside plans, parking studies, ITS initiatives, freight analyses, and emerging mobility studies.
Perform analyses and generate reports using Excel, traffic modeling platforms, PowerBI, and other analytical tools.
Perform traffic modeling using Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS, Vissim, Visum, Vistro and Aimsun, and pedestrian modeling using MassMotion.
Develop data, code, and calibrate micro-simulation models and interpret their outputs.
Prepare conceptual street and intersection designs for urban and airport landside environments.
Create presentation material and write reports for internal and external purposes.
Attend client meetings with senior staff.
Present technical material in traditional and innovative ways for review by technical and non-technical audiences.
Research and assess trends and standard methodologies in the transportation industry.
Requires Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of experience.
- Salary Range: $95,900 - $108,400/year.
