Our Electrical Engineering team in Spain sits at the heart of Arup's commitment to sustainable development. We engineer energy-efficient solutions that minimize environmental impact while creating comfortable, healthy, and high-performing spaces. In this team, you'll contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects across Spain and potentially internationally, collaborating with experts from various disciplines to deliver impactful solutions.
The Opportunity
This is your chance to work in the Electrical Engineer team with specialists in the field, in an international and highly collaborative environment, participating in a variety of projects and keeping in touch with professionals from all over the world.
As an Electrical Engineer Trainee at Arup, you will:
- Support the team in the design of electrical installations in buildings.
- Be involved in the preparation of calculations, reports, plans and technical specifications for a variety of national and international projects.
- Help with the selection of equipment for buildings and coordinate with engineers and architects from other disciplines.
- Attend to meetings and communication with clients.
- Have possibility of going on site.
Does this role inspire you?
We are looking for someone proactive and dynamic that has a great interest in electrical engineering projects. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Currently enrolled in studies in Industrial Technology Engineering (specialization in Electrical Engineering) or Electrical Engineering
- Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish skills.
- Flexibility and interest in teamwork.
Bonus points if you have:
- Previous experience in a position with similar responsibilities.
- Previous knowledge of Revit/Caneco/DIALux.
Conditions
- Be enrolled in the university to be able to establish an agreement with the University
- Immediate incorporation
- Duration: 6 months of extendable internship (possibility of joining after completing the internship)
- Schedule: From 20 to 40 hours per week to be defined with the student
- Remuneration: will depend on the student's level of training and the number of hours established.
