The Opportunity
You will be member of multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver high quality engineering services designs. Supervising junior engineers and CAD staff. Manage timely delivery of designs to cost constraints.
You will be take a prominent role in respect of the building services elements of such projects in the production of calculations, drawings, tender documents, feasibility studies, condition reports etc. and high degree of autonomy, reporting to the Project Manager or Director in respect of project deliverables and performance, under the technical management / supervision of the technical director.
You will Mentor graduate engineers, Direct and manage technicians and liaise with other building services engineers throughout Arup. Participate in multi-disciplinary project teams and collect information from all available sources to prepare accurate and complete designs and drawings.
You will involve in development of innovative designs and presentation of initial concepts in sketch form with study of input data from gathered information and laying out of GLRS & LLRS in schematic design stage with preparation of drawings & schedules using Indian and International codes (wherever required). And working closely with technicians on CAD and REVIT drawings.
Keeping senior staff informed of important and relevant design decisions to make sure that the objectives of the company and the client are achieved. Representing ARUP at meetings with the client, other professionals, and suppliers. And Provides guidance to entry level engineers. Site checking and inspection as per the design drawings and calculation.

We'd love to hear from you if you have
- A relevant qualification in Structural Engineering and be heading for professional chartership with a minimum 5 years of relevant work
- An appreciation of the analysis and design of structures utilizing structural design software like ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, RCDC etc. CAD and REVIT software is added advantage.
- Knowledge of computational programming in Excel, VBA will be preferred with basic knowledge of Rhino and GH. .
- Strong desire to develop new designs / technology and able to demonstrate strong design ability and engineering skills and knowledge.
- Site inspection knowledge will be added advantage.
