The Opportunity
To support our commitment in providing world-class finance services, our Accountant/Sr. Accountant will provide support to our Shared Services and responsible for reviewing the accounting operations of the companies including work done by the team in Manila.
Your role in our team

Review and post the journals of all transactions in the general ledger.

Review the reconciliation of accounts such as payables and receivables, inter-company accounts, bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts.

Prepare financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Compile weekly consolidated cash flow reports for Global Treasury, respond to their queries.

Prepare, in line with global standards, financial reporting using Power BI, including but not limited to accounts payable analysis reports for APA.

Respond to management’s queries and escalate when required to achieve speedy resolution.

Prepare reporting on budgetary controls on capital and major operating expenses such as training, marketing, etc.

Collaborate with the global statutory accounts team in preparation of the lead schedules for year-end audits and other requests

Support the UAT and implementation of future global finance systems and automation.

Stay up to date on changes in accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and IFRS.

Answer queries from management and employees reference accounting matters.

Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders including auditors/bankers.

Support training to the teams in Manila and other regional offices
Is this role right for you?

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field, preferably with recognized professional qualifications.

At least 6-7 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping or accounting.

Good knowledge and experience in using JDE, Power BI and/or other ERP accounting systems.

Deep knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to details and accuracy.

Ability to work independently using own initiative and as part of the team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
