The Opportunity
This is your chance to be part of the Civil & Geotechnics team based in the Madrid office, but will be assigned on-site in Zaragoza, Spain, to support the Construction Supervision of an in-house designed urban development project now entering the construction phase.
As a Site Construction Engineer at Arup, you will:
- Monitor the correct execution on site of civil engineering works (including water, fibre and electrical networks, earthworks, pavements, roads, and stormwater tanks, among others).
- Prepare weekly progress reports on construction monitoring.
- Review documentation, technical specifications, drawings, and analyze technical proposals.
- Coordinate with other Arup teams on site, the Contractor, and the Client.
Does this role inspire you?
We are looking for someone dynamic and proactive. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Degree in Civil Engineering / Public Works Engineering / Surveying Engineering / Geodesic Engineering.
- At least 1 year of experience in supervision of urban development works or similar infrastructure projects (e.g., sewer networks).
- Knowledge of civil engineering design BIM software (e.g., OpenRoads, WaterCAD, SewerGEMS, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of water, electrical and mechanical installations.
- High level of English and Spanish skills.
Bonus points if you have:
Experience in BIM – Digital environments
