Senior Technology Consultant
 

Due to ongoing success in winning new and interesting projects in Ireland and abroad, fantastic opportunities have arisen for career-focused digital services/technology consultants to join the Digital and Advisory Services team within Arup. As a global professional services firm, Arup offers very attractive career prospects working on some of the most prestigious projects with a remuneration package commensurate with the role. A comprehensive and structured training and development program is in place which is supported by a strong and active international skills network. 


Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Project managing technology projects across a wide geographic region
  • Experience with road usage charging or tolling an advantage
  • Developing and enhancing relationships through project delivery
  • Working with your colleagues to advise clients on solution options
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Developing bids for work as well as business development activities
  • Ability to travel overseas on short to medium term assignments
  • Support delivery of other projects in the areas of Digital Transport, including road user charging and intelligent mobility.

Key skills required:
  • Strong post-graduate experience, including relevant experience in an operations management environment
  • Degree qualified in IT, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Excellent knowledge of operations management – preferably in a road charging/tolling environment
  • Experience in ICT disciplines such as business analysis, enterprise architecture, systems development or testing an advantage
  • Excellent project management experience
  • Excellent communication, report writing and presentation skills at all levels in an organisation
  • Multi-Lingual written and verbal skills an advantage
  • Ability to understand complex operational issues, capture client requirements and articulate solution options
  • Ability to work alone with minimal supervision or in large multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience in supporting bidding and business development activities
  • Prior experience working in a Consultancy environment an advantage
