About this role
Arup’s Architecture team unites a global network of inventive and highly skilled specialists. Together, we are best known for helping to shape ambitious architectural projects. This is the role for you if you have a comprehensive understanding of all relevant planning & building codes, regulations and associated submission procedures in Singapore and like to be responsible for the timely, accurate and efficient management of these technical documents. 

What will I do?

  • Checking, coordinating, organising and keeping records of drawings for compliance to planning & building regulations – from concept design to construction details, and for statutory submissions.
  • Co-ordinating the preparation & submission of forms, drawings and information required by authorities for approval and TOP/CSC, including performing floor area, and other statutory calculations, and drawings standards requirements.
  • Liaising with other disciplines on matters of building regulations as directed by the Architectural Leader, Architects and Designers. 
  • Guide and supervise the work of BIM Technicians and BIM coordinators. Manage workload including planning and overseeing the work on a range of projects ensuring relevant deadlines are met.
  • Supporting the firm’s compliance in maintaining ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 requirement.

What will I bring?

  • Diploma or Degree in architecture or related discipline. 
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in statutory consultations and submissions, particularly online via CORENET (and upcoming CORENET X) requirements in an Architectural consultancy 
  • Understanding of Singapore BIM submission requirement – Singapore BIM Guide (v2.0 and beyond), and SS CP83.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and other similar BIM software. Experience in Microstation will be an advantage.
  • Ability to acquire new technical knowledge and develop skills in ‘emerging’ specialised areas
