The Opportunity

Join our Structural Team in Istanbul or Ankara and contribute to exciting local and international projects. As a Senior Structural Engineer at Arup, you will play a key role in designing innovative and sustainable structures.

As a Senior Structural Engineer at Arup, you will:

• 3D modeling, analysis, and design of various types of structures.
• Perform calculations and prepare reports throughout all design stages.
• Assess the seismic safety of existing buildings.
• Review and approve construction drawings before submission.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and other professionals.
• Contribute to the development of innovative structural solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced structural engineer with a passion for design excellence. We also value:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable university.
• Master's degree in Structural or Earthquake Engineering is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in reinforced concrete and/or steel structural design.
• Proficiency in standard office software (MS Office, CAD).
• Working knowledge of common structural analysis software.
• Knowledge and experience in coding languages are a plus.
• Familiarity with local and major international codes.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to take responsibility for challenging projects.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Strong teamwork skills and a results-oriented approach.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
• Completed military service (for male candidates).
