The Opportunity
Join our Structural Team in Istanbul or Ankara and contribute to exciting local and international projects. As a Senior Structural Engineer at Arup, you will play a key role in designing innovative and sustainable structures.
As a Senior Structural Engineer at Arup, you will:
- 3D modeling, analysis, and design of various types of structures.
- Perform calculations and prepare reports throughout all design stages.
- Assess the seismic safety of existing buildings.
- Review and approve construction drawings before submission.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and other professionals.
- Contribute to the development of innovative structural solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
Does this role inspire you?
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced structural engineer with a passion for design excellence. We also value:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable university.
- Master's degree in Structural or Earthquake Engineering is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in reinforced concrete and/or steel structural design.
- Proficiency in standard office software (MS Office, CAD).
- Working knowledge of common structural analysis software.
- Knowledge and experience in coding languages are a plus.
- Familiarity with local and major international codes.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to take responsibility for challenging projects.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Strong teamwork skills and a results-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
- Completed military service (for male candidates).
