Our integrated Planning & Design team are thrilled to be hiring a Senior Strategic Planner with built form experience into their Adelaide team. This exciting opportunity will see you connected into a larger planning offering across Australasia as you deliver projects, win work and contribute to the growth of the business. Every day you will have the opportunity to push the boundaries of urban and strategic planning and create new possibilities for our clients. 

The Opportunity

  • Develop strategic inputs to planning and design projects locally and interstate. Consider innovative approval mechanisms, strategic planning for growth, and integration of infrastructure needs across a range of planning contexts
  • Manage the delivery of projects and work directly with clients, have a presence in market. 
  • Support and author reports, submissions, presentations, proposals and similar
  • Interact with internal and external clients, providing sound advice that meets clients needs


Is this role right for you?

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Planning, along with tertiary qualifications in Planning, Economics, Social Sciences, Engineering or similar. Experience within a consulting or government environment is highly regarded.
  • Understanding of statutory and strategic planning across South Australia, a real understanding of the strategic context of growth planning with ability to demonstrate what issues matter on the projects you deliver.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality technical work across policy review, spatial analytics, infrastructure requirements, statutory analysis, and approvals. 
  • Experience working on projects, with an understanding of scope and timeframes and the commercial realities of program delivery. 
  • A commitment to enabling positive, respectful, and inclusive team environments, be ambitious and committed, call it out when needed, shout out successes often and be an active positive member of the team.
