We now invite applications for the following resident site staff position for Civil Engineering and Development Department Contract No. CV/2022/04 – Reconstruction of Yi O Pier and Ma Wan Chung Pier and Contract No. CV/2022/09 – Reconstruction of Yung Shue Wan Public Pier and Shek Tsai Wan Pier. The construction works for Contract No. CV/2022/04 includes demolition of the existing Ma Wan Chung Pier, construction of two new piers at Yi O and Ma Wan Chung, and associated piling works, and provision of floating platforms at the two piers. The works are scheduled to commence in August 2022. The construction works for Contract No. CV/2022/09 includes demolition of the existing Yung Shue Wan Public Pier and the catwalk, and the damaged part of Shek Tsai Wan Pier, construction of two new piers at Yung Shue Wan and Shek Tsai Wan and associated piling works, construction of new catwalk structure at Yung Shue Wan including provision of additional cycle parking area, and provision of floating platforms at the two new piers. The works have been commenced in 4th Quarter of 2022.
Qualifications & Experience required:
• Corporate Membership of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers in an appropriate discipline or equivalent; AND
• At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience
Appointment will be made on contract term in accordance with the prevailing government’s terms and conditions. For the usual duties of the position, please refer to RSS Management Handbook Appendix 7.4. Application deadline on or before 24 December 2024.
