The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Proposal Coordinator. The purpose of this role is to support our UKIMEA Energy, Water and Resources Portfolio in developing winning bids.
This is achieved by contributing to the effective co-ordination of the bidding process, and the production of high-quality submissions and proposals.
Is the role right for you?
As a Senior Proposal Coordinator, you'll play a key role in managing bids, ensuring high-quality, competitive proposals are delivered. You'll collaborate with bid teams and external partners, supporting best practices and contributing to Arup’s 12-Step work-winning process.
This position offers professional development within the UKIMEA CMC network, with mentoring from experienced colleagues. Your work will be guided by senior proposal staff, and you'll have opportunities to support work-winning efforts across the region. If you excel at coordinating bids, fostering relationships, and refining proposal content, this could be the ideal role for you.
Requirements
Key qualities we are looking for in candidates include:
- Competitive drive, dedication to achieving challenging deadlines and good time management skills
- Experience of bid coordination and bid writing, possibly within the UK Business sector or a professional services context
- Ability to identify and communicate work winning priorities and strategies
- Experience of playing a central role within bid teams and of work collaboratively with others under pressure
- A personable, collaborative, and resilient approach
- An ability to draw out and communicate ideas effectively and creatively and a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to produce impactful, clear, and compliant submissions.
