This Project Management / Project Owner role, for one of Arup's key global clients, is to join our existing dedicated team working alongside the client to support, govern and deliver projects within the corporate occupier sector. In this role you will be the face of Arup, working proactively with the client, other consultants and the contractors taking responsibility for the management of resources, timelines, budgets, risks, communications and reporting to meet the client's objectives and deliver tangible value.
The Opportunity
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of client-side commercial fit-out projects, including restacks and new locations, acting as the main point of contact from feasibility studies and project briefing through to execution and close-out, while managing consultant teams and internal stakeholders.
- Apply strong project management expertise to plan, coordinate, and deliver projects in a controlled and structured manner, ensuring alignment with approved scope, budget, and timelines.
- Establish, monitor, and maintain project risk registers and communication plans throughout all stages of the project lifecycle, proactively identifying risks and ensuring clear stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure compliance with the client’s governance processes, including procurement, third-party risk management, and project delivery requirements, while liaising closely with key stakeholders to achieve desired project outcomes.
- Drive commercial success by exercising sound commercial judgement, delivering high-quality outcomes, and building strong client relationships that contribute to ongoing collaboration and business development opportunities.

Is this role right for you?
- 5-10 years of experience in Project or Cost Management roles within the consulting sector or a client organization with primary focus on commercial fit-out works
- Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, project management, architecture, business, or a related field
- Professional accreditation such as AiPM, Certified Practicing Project Manager (CPPM), PMP, or similar.
- Proven ability to manage project time, quality, and performance effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to prepare impactful project reports for clients.
- Experience with project governance standards and procedures based on an organisation's protocols
