We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to provide data center project delivery and leadership capability as part of our multi-disciplinary team.


·    Lead mechanical design for data center projects 
·    Coordination with multiple disciplines to achieve project objectives
·    Work directly with clients, presenting technical material in traditional and innovative ways for review by technical and non-technical audiences
·    Understanding trends and standard methodologies in the industry
·    Work assignment preparation, guidance, review and mentoring for junior staff
·    Delivering timely feedback and recognition to others



·    8 or more years of professional working experience with a focus on designing data centers
·    Demonstrable experience leading mechanical design teams across a full spectrum of project development in a demanding, fast-paced environment
·    Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
·    Professional Engineering License in US required or ability to obtain this within one year of joining Arup
·    Experience with US codes and standards
·    Experience with 3D BIM software such as Revit MEP
·    Experience with load analysis and computational fluid dynamics preferred
