The Opportunity

As a member of the UKIMEA Marketing, Communications and Business Development (MCBD) Operations team. This role is accountable for delivering the marketing activities defined by the UKIMEA MCBD Director and the Business Partners, and is available on a 6 month fixed term contract.

We are looking for a highly motivated and delivery focused marketing generalist to work primarily aligned with our Focus Markets (India, Middle East and Africa). The role is key to delivering positioning activity that enhances our market reputation for sustainable development and increases our influence so we can do more to accelerate the transition to a net zero, more resilient, nature positive and equitable future.

Working closely with the Portfolio Marketing Lead, you will contribute to designing marketing strategies and campaigns plans, as well as deliver and evaluate their success. You will have day-to-day responsibility for the smart execution of tactical activity aligned to the strategic marketing plans that maximises return on investment

You will  work closely with stakeholders in the business to develop highly productive relationships and guide a strategic approach to marketing that aligns to business priorities. Collaborating with colleagues aligned with the Focus Markets Portfolio and in our region-wide team, including those with specialisms in events, digital marketing, social media and content production.

Is this role right for you?

We are looking for people who:

  • Have strong partnership skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced matrixed, professional services organisation.
  • Have experience of working in India, Middle East or Africa or with any emerging economy would be highly beneficial, but not essential
  • Are creative curiosity and demonstrable interest in best practice and learning new approaches. 
  • Are willing to work flexibly and collaboratively across the boundaries of marketing and communications to deliver the best outcomes for our stakeholders. 
  • Hold a qualification in a relevant field.
