The role is based in Manila office.
Your role in our team
- As a senior member you will take ownership of, and support the project manager with project delivery, including setting and managing project programs, budgets, and leading quality assurance procedures in your area of expertise.
- You will develop wastewater network/ catchment survey specifications and liaise with survey sub-contractors along with mentoring the development of our junior modellers; your direct team, the wider modelling centre of excellence and supporting our global training programme.
Is this role right for you?
To be successful, we are seeking practical experience in hydraulic modelling techniques mainly but not limited within the UK water industry, specifically using InfoWorks ICM. Knowledge in Level 1 UPM water quality modelling will also be a plus but is not required.
We are interested in the following skills and experience.
- Has a background in civil, sanitary, or environmental engineering, or any related discipline.
- Holds a recognized engineering professional qualification (PRC license). Chartership or working towards chartership with CIWEM, ICE, or any similar institution will be a huge advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Strong technical know-how in the use of InfoWorks ICM and GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS/ArcMap, or any other similar software)
- Track record of successfully delivering water projects, including collaboration with private/public sector clients and regulators.
- Ability to lead and deliver wastewater network modelling projects, including model build and flow survey verification. Delivering to industry standards and specifications.
- Skills in 1D hydraulic models for risk analysis and develop solutions for water quality and flood risk benefits including storm overflows and wastewater treatment works.
- Develop and review technical reports, models, supporting calculations and deliverables. Assist with bid preparation and proposals. Strong client relationship management skills. Confidence in presenting results, challenges and proposals in a productive, collaborative working environment
