The opportunity

We are looking for Senior Geotechnical Engineer who will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design for a range of infrastructure and building projects. The role involves technical leadership, project management, and mentoring of junior engineers, while ensuring that geotechnical solutions are technically sound, cost-effective, and compliant with relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Skilled in performing and reviewing advanced geotechnical analyses including bearing capacity, settlement, slope stability, seepage, pile foundation behavior, and earth retaining structures. Proficient in ground improvement techniques and seismic-resistant design. Demonstrated expertise in preparing Geotechnical Interpretative Reports (GIR), Design Reports (GDR), and technical documentation.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with client expectations, budgets, and timelines. Adept at coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, preparing technical proposals, and overseeing quality assurance in compliance with IS, IRC, BS, Eurocode, and ASTM standards. Committed to mentoring junior engineers and fostering technical excellence through internal reviews and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Job Location- Mumbai/Gurugram/Bangalore 

Is the Role right for you 

Qualifications & Experience:

·        M.Tech / M.E. in Geotechnical Engineering or Soil Mechanics (preferred) or equivalent with Minimum 8–12 years of relevant geotechnical design and investigation experience.

·        Proficiency in PLAXIS 2D/3D, GeoStudio (Slope/W, Seep/W), LPILE, SAFE, STAAD Foundation, or similar. Knowledge of Standards: IS 6403, IS 2911 series, IS 2950, IS 8009, IS 1893, IS 456, BS 8004, and relevant IRC codes.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent report writing and communication skills. Ability to manage teams and coordinate with multidisciplinary stakeholders and client-facing skills and experience in proposal preparation.
