Arup Indonesia is seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team and provide geotechnical engineering services for a diverse range of infrastructure and building projects. In this role, you will focus on delivering high-quality engineering solutions and leading a skilled team across complex projects, including highways, railways, bridges, energy, water, and buildings. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, build lasting client relationships, and contribute to the growth of Arup’s presence in the Indonesian market.

The Opportunity 

•    Lead geotechnical engineering efforts in preliminary, concept, and detailed engineering designs for infrastructure and building projects.
•    Develop design solutions for complex engineering challenges and guide the team in implementing these solutions
•    Manage geotechnical project deliverables, ensuring quality and alignment with client specifications.
•    Coordinate project tasks, maintain client and stakeholder relationships, and support business development activities.
•    Help expand Arup’s client base by identifying new opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing clients.

Is this role right for you? 

•    Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s Degree advantageous) and 10-15 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering.
•    Significant expertise in heavy civil engineering structures, particularly bridges, tunnels, and maritime infrastructure.
•    Knowledge of Indonesian and international design codes, with experience in structural analysis and design software
•    Relevant Indonesian licenses (SKA/SKK & STRI) and ideally, chartered membership of a recognized international engineering institution.
•    Strong communication skills, a consultative approach, and the ability to manage high-pressure situations while maintaining high standards and effective teamwork.
