The Opportunity

We are looking for Facade Access Consultant to work in our existing team of facade access consultants in London as part of our wider Facilities management team.

This is an opportunity to work on unique and complex geometry construction projects in London and also worldwide. The successful candidate should be able to tackle complex assignments and is committed to providing technically sound and practical solutions on complex geometry buildings or structures. The successful candidate will be based in London and provide specialist facade access consultancy services working alongside other Arup disciplines.

The role will see you:

  • Producing feasibility reports, designing strategy RIBA reports, technical notes, specifications, comparison studies
  • Working closely with architects during various design phases to develop a working access solution
  • Investigating new methods of access with suppliers and product manufactures
  • Ensuring ongoing maintenance is considered at the earliest stages and incorporated into the design
  • Acting as a project manager on medium to smaller projects in the team and assist with the larger projects

  • Has an engineering qualification
  • Has experience working on facade access projects and design background of working on commercial buildings
  • Has understanding of the wide range of facade access solutions and risks
