Senior Engineer

Senior Engineer (New York, NY)

• Deliver mechanical engineering design services to support data centers.

• Investigate up-time calculations, liquid cooling, and energy use calculations for new and existing buildings.

• Oversee design teams to ensure quality work that conforms to clients’ schedules and falls within contracted fees.

• Design heating, cooling, and ventilation systems for buildings.

• Produce calculations, drawings, and specifications that are suitable for obtaining a permit and construction.

• Educate non-technical stakeholders on the fundamentals of data center design.

• Support a team focused on quantifying the impact of natural disasters on a data center facility.

• Contextualize risk as it relates to the operation of mechanical and electrical systems.

• Ensure the provision of informed solutions to clients.

• Maintain and expand our client portfolio.

• Hold annual reviews and informal check-ins with supervisees to discuss development goals, resourcing opportunities, support for day-to-day activities, and promotion and salary.

• Requires Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of experience.

• Salary Range: $139,818.00 - $193,200/year.
