As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the successful delivery and execution of engineering projects, focusing on technical excellence. You will oversee the design and coordination of medium and large-scale projects, often in a client-facing role, and contribute to business development through active engagement with clients. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and a solid understanding of building service design, especially in sectors such as commercial, hotel, retail, and data centres. This role is based in our Johor Bahru office.

The Opportunity 

•    Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support for problem-solving.
•    Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
•    Oversee the design, development, and testing of electrical systems, including compliance with industry regulations.
•    Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and high-quality project delivery
•    Support business development activities by creating proposals and attending meetings with current and potential clients.

Is this role right for you? 

•    Relevant tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, with a preference for a Malaysia Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
•    Atleast 8 years of proven experience in delivering data centre and similar consulting projects, with a strong understanding of cost-effective and sustainable solutions.
•    Experience managing medium to large-scale projects, including supervising multidisciplinary teams.
•    Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards.
•    Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams under pressure.
