The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has come up for an Asset and Operations Consultant to join our Advisory Services team in London on a hybrid basis! The main purpose of this role is to apply your knowledge and asset management skills in leading and managing the delivery of a range of client projects across the Aviation, Transport, Building, Science and Industry markets. The role includes technical activities such as operational concept & business requirements development, operational performance review & process improvements, design (3D)/Simulation of material handling systems, establishing client & system requirements and undertaking capacity/demand analysis.

Is this role right for you?
Alongside the above technical activities, this role further includes project management activities such as, stakeholder engagement to facilitate the delivery of project outcomes, planning and organising projects (tracking & reporting project delivery & project scope, preparing proposals, while developing client relationships). You will also contribute to the development of methodologies, tools, thought leadership papers, and the Asset Management community of practice and Operations Consulting skills network, while applying your business management experience in asset management for large organisations. You will also get the opportunity to contribute to business development activities, working with clients to understand their needs and form compelling asset management propositions, attending client meetings and writing proposals.
Requirements:
We are particularly interested in hearing from people who have experience in baggage or material handling asset management, along with the following skills/attributes:
- A background in the implementation of asset management systems, interpretation and analysis of results.
- The ability to interpret complex technical data into clear communications to influence our client's business drivers.
- Capability in developing business proposals for clients by understanding their requirements and drawing together expertise from a multi-disciplinary firm.
- Knowledge of system design including 2D/3D CAD design skills.
- Project management and delivery skills including financial and risk management.
