Arup’s Management Consulting practice is a multi-disciplinary team focused on creating resilient organizations through effective transformation.  We advise businesses and governments on complex and multidisciplinary challenges and improving the direction and performance of their operations, assets and people. The team includes practioners in change management, target operating models, strategic advisory, business processes and operations, among other industry sector experts.

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join this team and use your background in strategic advisory, business analysis and change management expertise to secure and deliver a range of high-profile client projects across our market sectors, including transportation, property and water.

The Opportunity

·       Deliver and support various projects by applying your background in change management, business analysis, and strategic advisory to guide and support clients

·       Be an active part of developing and enhancing our Management Consulting offer

·       Engage in client and stakeholder interface activities such as meetings, presentations, and workshops.

·       Work collaboratively with colleagues leveraging the multi-disciplinary technical expertise across the firm to provide quality advice to our clients

·       Manage multiple client engagements at any given time by leveraging internal and external resources across multiple disciplines.

·       Act as a guide and role model to junior staff, supporting them in developing analytical and consulting skills.

·       Support work winning activities, including proposal efforts, and market facing activities with new and existing clients.

·       Develop and maintain strong internal and external networks, including client relationships.

Is this role right for you?

·       Bachelors degree in Business, Organization Behavior or similar. MBA is preferred

·       At least 6 years of experience working in management consulting supporting business transformation.  Experience working with infrastructure intensive clients in transportation, property, energy and/or water space preferred.

·       Ability to adopt an organized, methodological and creative approach to problem solving and decision-making

·       Strong written and oral communication skills

·       Ability to effectively build and maintain client relationships

·       Strong commercial awareness and acumen – with track record of successful project delivery and work winning

·       A collaborative style of working that fosters innovation and team working

Preferred Skills:

·       Experience in the application of data and digital tools to organizational change projects and programs

·       Experience in broad range of people and change projects and programs with a range of methodologies, like Prosci.

New York Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in New York is $126,700 to $140,000 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of New York will differ.
