The Senior Consultant - Operational Integration and Readiness will apply in-depth knowledge and specialist skills in leading and managing the planning and delivery of a range of client projects across any of the following technical areas: Operational Integration, Operational Readiness and Change Management.


The Opportunity

  • Lead, manage and deliver client projects or workstreams of larger/complex project in operations and/or change management. Lead project planning and scoping by outlining full projects/activities and resources required, e.g. time, people and skills.
  • Build great client networks and relationships and liaises closely with key client stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of set project outcomes.
  • Establish strong internal networks, building awareness and creating connections with other business disciplines in South Australia and with regional and global peers. Maintain Arup’s industry leadership in the development, or support of, methodologies, tools, thought leadership papers and the community of practice and skills networks.
  • Contribute to business development pursuits, including identifying work opportunities in existing client relationships, developing compelling and winning proposals and pitch documents.
  • Provide definition and direction to the local team, interfacing with other national / global teams, setting the strategy for the team and supporting the development of skills and service offerings.

Is this role right for you?

  • Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Business, Design, Engineering, or similar area.
  • 6-10 years of relevant industry experience in Operations Consulting, Operational Readiness, Operational Improvement, Change Management or Project Management within a consulting business environment.
  • Experience in one or more of the following markets: Aviation, Rail, Healthcare.
  • Skilled and experienced in methods and tools regarding process design, system integration, change and communications.
  • Project management and delivery skills, including financial and risk management.
  • Experienced facilitator, and stakeholder manager comfortable working with groups including senior management cohorts.
