Key Responsibilities:

  • Well-experienced industry professional to shape the Information Management and BIM requirements and implementation on a wide range of engineering projects
  • Direct and supervise the project team to ensure and deliver high quality works by using BIM and Information Management effectively
  • Lead a team of project BIM Coordinator(s) and BIM technicians including input to Quality Assurance and Quality Control of models and drawings
  • Provide technical leadership and support to major project teams with respect to BIM and CAD software (primary focus on Autodesk and Bentley tools)
  • Responsible for kick-off, lead, coordinate and review major project BIM related meetings with clients and project partners
  • Responsible for compilation/contribution of major BIM Execution Plan, Technology Plan, and Information Management Plan at the project level
  • Ensure the Project Common Data Environment is in place to meet client’s requirements and enable the effective management of engineering design deliverables
  • Plan project BIM deliverables and manage the delivery of works effectively and in accordance with the Project Plan and BIM Execution Plan
  • Liaise with the client, external project collaborators, Project Leaders and design teams
  • Assist bid teams to prepare bid documents with BIM requirements

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or related subjects
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience in Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry; preferably with at least 5 years of experience in BIM environment
  • Advanced knowledge of BIM processes and development
  • Proven experience in managing design coordination process
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain good work relationships with staff at all levels
  • Good time management and problem-solving skills; able to work under pressure
  • Experience working on large scale infrastructure projects would be advantageous
