The Opportunity

Arup is seeking a highly proficient Senior BIM Designer to direct digital delivery across complex infrastructure projects in the Middle East. This strategic role involves driving BIM implementation, ensuring compliance with ISO 19650 and Employer’s Information Requests, and managing model coordination within a Common Data Environment. 

You will oversee the development of federated BIM models, promote third-party consultants, and contribute to the refinement of standards, workflows, and digital practices. As part of the regional BIM management team, you’ll play a key role in advancing innovation, quality, and efficiency across multidisciplinary project delivery.

Is this role right for you?

We are looking for the following skills.

  • Bachelor’s / master’s degree in civil engineering or a related construction discipline. (preferably).
  • Knowledge (preferably within complex infrastructure projects).
  • Strong proficiency in software used for infrastructure disciplines (preferably Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, Plant 3D, Navisworks, Inventor and Autodesk Construction Cloud). 
  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in civil, utilities and infrastructure modelling. 
  • Ability to develop and maintain BIM documentation aligned with international and company standards. Knowledge facilitating BIM coordination meetings, digital design workshops, and lessons learned sessions.
  • Familiarity with structural and infrastructure typologies (e.g tunnels, bridges, roads, offshore structures). 
  • A very good command of English (minimum B2-C1 level).
