The role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join teams delivering major infrastructure and water projects in India and the Middle East. The modeller needs to have experience with geometric design standards, which is also standard industry practice in highways projects. Your expertise in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS will be critical to the success of our design and construction teams.
Responsibilities:
Create and manage accurate 2D/3D drawings, models, and surface data for civil engineering projects using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS. Your work includes developing detailed designs, digital terrain models, grading plans, and as‑built documentation while ensuring all outputs meet company and client standards. You collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, supporting engineers and project managers with coordinated inputs, timely updates, and participation in design reviews. You maintain high quality and compliance with CAD and data management protocols, stay updated with evolving software workflows, and actively share knowledge. You bring a proactive, self‑motivated approach, strong problem‑solving skills, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to work effectively in dynamic, multi‑team environments.
Is this role right for you?
3–5 years of post‑graduate experience, primarily on India‑based projects, with added value from any UK project exposure. Your expertise includes detailed road and street design, supported by working knowledge of IRC and/or DMRB geometric design standards. You are experienced in preparing reports, calculations, and BOQs, and proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with OpenRoads Designer as an added advantage. You also have exposure to drainage design, and your familiarity with traffic signs, road markings, Vehicle Restraint Systems, and Road Safety Audits further enhances your capabilities, though these are desirable rather than essential.
