The Opportunity
We now invite applications for the following resident site staff position for Electrical and Mechanical Services Department Agreement No. CE 67/2018 (EM) - The District Cooling System for Kwu Tung North New Development Area - Design and Construction. The project involves design and construction of DCS plants, DCS chilled water distribution pipe laying works, installation of electrical and mechanical equipment, and provision of connection facilities (including heat exchangers) works that to be carried out within Kwu Tung North New Development Area.
Is this role right for you?
Qualifications & Experience required:
• Certificate from Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong/Hong Kong Institute of Construction/Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education/Technical Institute/Technical College/Polytechnic University/Polytechnic in Hong Kong or equivalent in an appropriate discipline; OR
• Successfully completed a recognised technician apprenticeship in an appropriate discipline, OR
• Successfully completed a recognised craft apprenticeship with 2 years’ experience as a skilled worker in an appropriate discipline, OR
• At least 5 years’ experience as a skilled worker in an appropriate discipline; AND
• Attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Languages equivalent to Secondary 3 standard or above

Appointment will be made on contract term in accordance with the prevailing government’s terms and conditions. For the usual duties of the position, please refer to RSS Management Handbook Appendix 7.4.
