The Opportunity
We now invite applications for the following resident site staff position for Contract No. GE/2025/22 - Landslip Prevention and Mitigation Programme, New Territories West and Lantau, Phase 1, Contract 3.
This 39-month project, involving upgrading of seventeen substandard government man-made features in the New Territories West and Lantau, as well as implementation of hazard mitigation works for four study areas to be commenced in January 2026.
Is this role right for you?
Qualifications & Experience required:
• Corporate Membership of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers in the Civil or Geotechnical discipline or equivalent and with at least 2 years of experience in geotechnical engineering; OR
• Recognised professional qualification in engineering geology or geotechnical engineering or equivalent, such as Chartered Geologist status of the Geological Society of London, UK and with at least 2 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
What we offer you
Appointment will be made on contract term in accordance with the prevailing government’s terms and conditions. For the usual duties of the position, please refer to RSS Management Handbook Appendix 7.4.
