Resident Engineer

We now invite applications for the following resident site staff position for Contract No. GE/2024/08 – Re-provisioning of Victoria Public Mortuary: Cavern Enhancement Works and Natural Terrain Hazard Mitigation Works.

This 12-month project, involving cavern enhancement works and natural terrain hazard mitigation works at Victoria Road, will be commenced in June 2025.

Qualifications & Experience required:
• Corporate Membership of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers in the Civil or Geotechnical discipline or equivalent and with at least 2 years of experience in geotechnical engineering; OR
• Recognised professional qualification in engineering geology or geotechnical engineering or equivalent, such as Chartered Geologist status of the Geological Society of London, UK and with at least 2 years of experience in geotechnical engineering

Appointment will be made on contract term in accordance with the prevailing government’s terms and conditions. For the usual duties of the position, please refer to RSS Management Handbook Appendix 7.4. Application deadline on or before 10 April 2025.
