We are looking for talented candidates to join our Building Structure team. The position will be on contract basis to work on a variety of building projects comprising commercial and residential developments, topside developments ad many more in Penang.


About You



A tertiary education or industry experience in related field and at least 8 years of experience in basements, foundations and high-rise building structures, highways and bridges, civil infra works, earthworks, drainage and sewerage projects. Registered as Professional Engineer would be an advantage. 


The below key skills and experience are essential for success in this role:
  •  Experienced in high-rise construction, mass pour of foundation, transfer beam and top down construction.

  • Has an eye for details and meticulous in enforcing high standards of constructions and consultants.

  • Able to independently undertake project and technical analyses, and report on results.

  • Able to liaise with Client, Consultants and Authorities

  • Able to work under pressure and extended working hours.


About the Role


As a Resident Engineer, you will responsible for superintending officer’s representative on the day to day administration of the site and design Engineer on issues concerning civil and structural design matters.


Specifically, you will be responsible for:


  • Adhere to the roles and responsibilities of the Resident Site Team detailed under Section 6 of the Project Procedures Manual.

  • Provide support and help enforce the Health and Safety requirements detailed under the Special Conditions to the Contract.

  • Provide support and monitor the compliance of the contractor with regards to the Sustainability requirements detailed under the Special Conditions of the Contract.

  • To actively participate in the Site Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Committee and attend all EHS Committee meetings.

  • Assist the Superintending Officer in the Contract Administration of the project.

  • Provide review and respond to C&S submittals from Contractor.

  • Properly discharge the responsibility assigned in representing the interests of the firm and in being sensible to the welfare and reputation of the firm.
