Under the Oasys Software brand, we develop Engineering Analysis applications used by Arup and sold externally. We are an interdisciplinary global team delivering a range of desktop and cloud applications which have been at the core of many high profile construction projects. Quality assurance is a vital part of this work, with a dedicated Software QA capability covering a broad range of functional and non-functional QA activities.

- Deliver manual QA and automated QA in the Oasys engineering team
- Responsibility for test management and release QA approval processes
- Assist the QA lead to design and implement testing strategies
- In collaboration with the agile team, design implement manual, unit, integration, end to end and nonfunctional tests
- Lead the design and organisation of ensemble test sessions
- Play an active part in our agile team: helping to build an inclusive environment, sharing your knowledge
and promoting development best practices with colleagues within in the team and the wider Arup
developer community. - Manage work allocation and provide technical support to other team members
- Keep up to date with the software QA industry developments
Is this role right for you?
- Professional experience as a software QA engineer with demonstrable proficiency in test
automation and manual exploratory testing - Demonstrable strong practical knowledge of the fundamental concepts of software testing
- Experience in reviewing requirements
- Experience defining and refining test specifications
- Experience with exploratory manual testing and automated end to end testing frameworks (Ranorex or
equivalent and preferably playwright) - Experience of working in an agile environment, using user-centric design, with processes centred on
continuous integration - Ability to solve complex problems and openness in sharing your knowledge and thinking with others
- Strong team working skills with ability to build trusted relationships with people and groups with
diverse backgrounds - A curiosity for all things technical and will take responsibility for keeping yourself up to date
- ISTQB certification is desired
