Job Title – Public Health Engineer

Location: London

Our London team are looking for a Public Health Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary Building Engineering design team.  You will work on a variety of projects across all sectors including Residential, Rail and Commercial developments. These projects will include both new and existing building developments in the UK and abroad and our clients include signature Architects.

The Opportunity

You will have the opportunity of being involved in all elements including calculation, modelling and design of public health engineering systems from concept to tender phase, construction, and handover.

The role will see you:

  • Developing briefs and design concepts and delivering through to completion on site
  • Being involved in the production of drawings and reports and preparing co-ordinating public health specifications with other members of the design team to ensure delivery to agreed project timeframes and budgets.
  • Undertaking a sustainable approach to system design including hot and cold water services, above and below ground drainage, rainwater collection and disposal systems, water conservation and recycling, pollution control and waste management and treatment
  • Design of fire suppression systems and gas systems
  • Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team

Is this role right for you?

We’re looking for a candidate who:

  • Is degree qualified and working towards chartership
  • Has proven background in project work including above and below ground public health and water services design, and fire protection systems.
  • Has background of working directly with clients and end users
