We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Project and Programme Management within Arup’s Milan Office. 

Your Role: 

  • Undertake day to day project management for current ongoing project commitments and future projects; 
  • Be involved in interfacing clients gaining their trust and ensuring that their needs will be met by the brief through effective communication; 
  • Work collaboratively within a mutually supportive team environment with a focus on team success; 
  • Coordinate tasks, ensuring work quality is maintained at required standard; 
  • Effectively manage the time, scope, cost, quality and performance of projects; 
  • Prepare project reports for clients summarising key issues and strategically advising on best outcomes; 
  • Prepare and maintain project plans, records, reports, logs and registers; 
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of tender submissions and presentations; 
  • Provide input into the ongoing skill development within the project management team. 
  • Visit the construction site to monitor work progress, timing to be compliant with the schedule and update on working status, issues, critical situation 

Requirements: 

  • Degree in architecture or building engineering; 
  • Knowledge and experience in the field of project management and related areas across a range of projects; 
  • Fluency in both Italian and English language; 
  • Experience on fitout projects;
  • Experience onsite; 
  • Attention to detail and deadline oriented; 
  • Strong interest and experience in Sustainability 
  • Good understanding of fitout elements design; 
  • Knowledge of quality standards, means, methods and materials for millwork and interior finishes; 
  • Developed interest and knowledge in procurement; 
  • Ability to daily manage small scale projects and support senior PMs on large scale projects by meeting strict deadlines; 
  • Able to quickly develop and maintain successful client and team relationships; 
  • Excellent planning, organizational and analytical skills;
  • Excellent communications skills (including formal and informal presentations, written communications and reports); 
  • Able to demonstrate good commercial awareness; 
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and AutoCAD; 
  • Availability to travel within Europe
