The Opportunity

  • Support the Project Manager in coordinating project deliverables 
  • Assist in the monitoring of the project scope, budget, and schedule 
  • Assist in project coordination between other design disciplines 
  • Support in resolving design challenges with internal and external stakeholders  
  • Assist with preparation of client submittals, reports, presentations, analysis, guidelines, and project plans    
  • Prepare meeting minutes or other project documentation as needed 
  • Develop, with the oversight of the Project Manager, Change Orders or other contractual documents between the Client and the Design Team 
  • Prepare, track, and resolve requests for information (RFI) in liaison with the design team and the Client to ensure the design team has the information required to complete the design 
  • Support the Project manager with project reporting as required 
  • Support in the delivery of high quality, coordinated, on time deliverables that meet the project intent and client needs 
  • Support the creation of various management plans required for the project 
  • Develop broad technical knowledge and awareness to facilitate management of technical disciplines 
  • Utilize project management techniques, systems, procedures, and tools utilized to meet project objectives

Qualifications 

Required: 

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the fields of Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Construction Management, Economics, Business Administration 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Interest in infrastructure and buildings projects  
  • Professional demeanor    
  • Good communication skills essential for team-based working    
  • Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment    
  • Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges    
  • Able to work independently or as part of a large team    
  • Critical thinking, communication, and customer service skills 
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future to be considered for this role.

Preferred: 

  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA 
  • Interest in PMP certification in the future 
  • Sound knowledge of engineering fundamentals
