What will I do?

  • Use practical engineering knowledge to develop sustainable and innovative building and masterplan design
  • Support project team in developing strategies, solutions, design schemes and technical specifications for both public sector and private sector clients on net zero carbon, circular economy and sustainable infrastructure development under various domains, in particular urban planning, resources (energy / water / waste), environment and mobility
  • Undertake design on sustainable building, Building Physics, Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD), district energy and renewable energy engineering projects
  • Work on sustainability policy development and analysis, carbon management, renewables and climate services
  • Contribute to the development of integrated design with in-house architectural, MEP and facades teams, specifically in the areas of green, resilient and smart design

What will I bring?

  • Degree in Sustainability, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Energy or related discipline
  • Corporate membership of relevant professional institution(s); Green Building Certification and Energy Modelling is a plus
  • At least 1 year of post-chartered experience for the position of Project Engineer or Project Consultant; fresh chartered for the position of Engineer or Consultant
  • Candidates with energy and carbon modelling, and related financial analysis techniques along with cross-disciplinary knowledge in the build environment sector will be an advantage
  • Candidates with qualifications on carbon / energy auditing and assessment will be an advantage
  • Demonstrated experience with design of sustainable buildings or masterplans
  • Strong interest in green economy, environmental and sustainability issues, with a true passion and growth mindset in making positive impact on sustainability
  • Be able to undertake strong project and technical analysis, reporting and presentation
  • Able to work independently coupled with strong presentation, client management and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in English, Putonghua and Cantonese (spoken and written) as this role requires candidate to deal with English, Putonghua and Cantonese-speaking external parties
